In December 2011, Rights & Inclusion Australia was engaged by AusAID to provide a review of the draft UDGs (Universal Design Guidelines) for the Australian Aid Program.
Rights & Inclusion Australia provided a comprehensive review of the draft Guidelines main text and Annexes · and recommendations included consistent inclusive terminology and applicable references to the CRPD, the Process of Access (refer www.accessaustralia.com.au), APS 2010 (Access to Premises Standard) and BCA 2011 (Building Code of Australia).
This Rights & Inclusion Australia Guidelines review was completed in March 2012.
